America the Beautiful — Lifetime Military Pass
Cost: FREE in person
Eligibility: Veterans — no disability rating required
Disability requirement: None
Veterans are eligible for a free lifetime America the Beautiful Military Pass. It covers entrance fees at National Park Service and U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service sites and standard amenity/day-use fees at Forest Service, Bureau of Land Management, Bureau of Reclamation and Army Corps of Engineers sites.
At vehicle-fee locations, the pass covers the veteran and everyone in the veteran's private vehicle. At per-person locations, it generally covers the veteran plus up to three additional adults.
You can obtain it free in person at participating federal recreation sites. Ordering a physical pass online currently carries processing/handling charges. USGS Store

America the Beautiful — Access Pass
Cost: FREE in person
Eligibility: U.S. citizens or permanent residents with a medically determined permanent disability
VA rating required: No — it does not require 100%
This is especially important for disabled veterans because the Access Pass can be more valuable than the regular veteran Military Pass.
It provides lifetime access to participating federal recreation lands and may provide discounts on expanded amenity fees such as camping. The ordinary Military Lifetime Pass does not provide that additional camping/amenity discount.
The federal eligibility standard is a medically determined permanent disability that limits one or more major life activities—not a particular VA disability percentage. USGS Store
MILITARY RECREATION, CAMPING & LODGING
MWR Recreation Facilities
Eligibility: Depends on veteran status
Service-connected disability: Any VA-documented service-connected rating can open certain MWR retail recreation privileges
100% service-connected: Broader/full MWR eligibility
This one is much bigger than I realized.
Eligible disabled veterans can potentially access military-installation recreation including golf courses, bowling centers, recreational lodging and resorts, RV campgrounds, movie theaters, marinas, equipment rentals, restaurants and other recreational activities.
Under the expanded-access rules, veterans with a VA-documented service-connected disability—including ratings below 100%—can use specified MWR retail activities. Purple Heart recipients, former POWs and certain VA-designated caregivers are also eligible. Access rules and available facilities vary by installation, and veterans relying on expanded access may need a VHIC showing their eligibility and installation registration.
Veterans rated 100% service-connected have broader MWR eligibility under previously established DoD policy. Army Home
MWR Recreational Lodging
Cost: Discounted military recreation rates vary
Eligibility: Includes military retirees and eligible disabled veterans
Rating requirement: Varies by facility/program
This isn't just hotels on military installations. MWR recreational lodging includes cabins, cottages, campgrounds, vacation properties and military recreation resorts around the country and overseas.
Eligibility and priority vary by service branch and individual facility, so verify the specific destination before traveling. Military OneSource
TRAVEL
American Forces Travel
Cost: FREE to use; actual travel prices vary
Eligibility: Honorably discharged veterans qualify
Disability rating required: None
This one absolutely belongs on the page.
American Forces Travel is the official military-community leisure travel platform. Eligible veterans can shop discounted hotels, rental cars, flights, vacation packages, cruises and entertainment tickets.
And unlike a lot of military travel programs, you do not need to be retired or disabled. Military OneSource says eligibility has been expanded to veterans discharged honorably or generally under honorable conditions.
Current advertised savings include hotels up to 50% off, cruise-package discounts and reduced rental-car rates. Obviously, people should still compare the final price before booking—which fits our “is this actually a fucking discount?” rule perfectly. Military OneSource
SKIING & MOUNTAIN RECREATION
Epic Military Pass

Now this qualifies as a real discount.

SeaWorld — Waves of Honor
Eligibility: Veterans
Disability rating required: None
Important: Seasonal offers vary by park and date
SeaWorld has run legitimate veteran offers through Waves of Honor. In 2026, participating SeaWorld parks offered veterans complimentary admission for themselves and up to three guests, plus additional tickets at 50% off.
However, the 2026 veteran free-admission windows I found have already expired, so I would not advertise this today as an available free ticket. That's exactly how veteran-discount websites end up lying to people. We can list it as a recurring program and tell visitors to check the current offer. SeaWorld
Walt Disney World Military Offers
Eligibility: Active and retired military
Ordinary veteran status alone: No
This distinction needs to be loud.
Disney's major 2026 Military Salute ticket program is for active-duty and retired members of the U.S. military and qualifying spouses. Simply being an honorably discharged veteran does not make someone eligible for the primary Military Salute offer. Walt Disney World

Disneyland Military Tickets
Eligibility: Active and retired military
Ordinary veteran status alone: No
Disability rating: Not the determining factor
Disneyland likewise offers substantially reduced military tickets, but the official promotion is aimed at active and retired U.S. military personnel rather than every veteran. For 2026, for example, Disney lists a 3-day Military Promotional Park Hopper at $314 and a 4-day ticket at $369. Disneyland Resort
