Veteran Recreation Benefits by State
Pick your state. See what you actually qualify for.
Veteran recreation benefits vary wildly from one state to another. Some states give every veteran free park access. Others reserve their strongest benefits for veterans with service-connected disabilities. And the disability threshold might be 30%, 50%, 60%, 100%—or simply any service-connected disability.
This directory focuses on benefits that are actually worth knowing about: free park admission, free or deeply discounted camping, hunting and fishing privileges, recreation passes, and other meaningful opportunities.
